Pillars of Successful Independence Program (PSI)

HOW CAN THE PSI PROGRAM HELP ME?


The goal of the Pillars of Successful Independence Program's is to prepare foster youth ages 14-15, gain skills that will prepare foster youth for independence/ emancipation.
To be able to reach this goal, the program can help you with the following services:

 

  • Leadership
  • Summer Employment
  • Comprehensive Guidance/Counseling
  • Occupational Skills Training
  • Follow-up Services
  • Study Skills Training
  • Dropout Prevention
  • Adult Mentoring
  • Fieldtrips
  • Workshops
  • Career Exploration
  • Money Management

 

To be eligible for the Pillars of Successful Independence Foster Care Program youth must be:

  • Between the ages of 14-15
  • In the Weld County Foster Care System
