Youth Crime Prevention and Intervention
Program (YCPI)
Youth Workforce Skill Development Project
The Youth Workforce Skill Development Project offers a range of workforce
development options to youth who have been unsuccessful in the regular
school system. The target groups are those youth who have dropped out
or have been expelled, teen parents, and individuals who have graduated
from school without the essential skills necessary to enter the workplace.
Youth are provided the opportunity to participate in a learning environment
in which they can work towards a GED, improve their essential skills
in reading, writing, math, etc., receive assistance in passing entrance
exams for post secondary education, and obtain workforce skills.
