Veteran's Programs
In recognition of the invaluable services our veterans have provided to our country, Employment Services of Weld County is dedicated to providing priority services to those veterans. Our full time veteran's staff administers special programs that are designed to enhance the employability of veterans.
Some of those programs can be of significant benefit to employers. At times, there are programs that provide funds for on-the-job or formal training of veterans.
Many employers are required to have Affirmative Action Programs for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era due to their status as a federal contractor. The veteran's staff can assist those employers in meeting their Affirmative Action goals. For general information contact:
